The main purpose of the Plant and Animal Production Department is; To train qualified technical staff who have sufficient knowledge and practice about the production of plant and animal products and their quality control, preservation and preparation for the market, and who can respond to the research / development support and other personnel needs of the public and private sectors. The Department of Plant and Animal Production was opened in 2012 within the body of Pamukkale University Tavas Vocational School. The language of instruction is Turkish and the education period is 2 years (4 semesters) and it is a department consisting of two programs. Our department has Organic Agriculture and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants programs and continues its teaching activities with 6 lecturers. Theoretical courses are given in classrooms with a projection capacity of 50 people, as computer aided, by instructors who are experts in their fields.
