FOOD PROCESSING DEPARTMENT

General Information

Food Processing Department has started its activities since the 2010-2011 academic year. Our department has currently Milk and Dairy Products Technology Program. Academic staff of the department, 1 assistant professor and 2 lecturer. The Department educates the intermediate member that public and private sector need. Department students graduate with associate's degree and gain the right to continue degree programs in areas related with DGS.


Objective

The purpose of the Department of Food Processing; students to meet industry's demands and developments in food science and technology, knowledgeable, skilled manufacturing processes, food processing machinery and equipment to do maintenance and repair, food regulations and legislation to implement the food quality and control laboratories capable of theoretical nature to gain knowledge and skills. Students gain the skills to make application to the extent of laboratory and pilot plant.
