GENERAL INFORMATION
Orthodontics is the oldest specialty in the field of dentistry.

Objective
The orthodontics is one of the most difficult discipline to be trained and practiced, with science and art intertwined. Our goal when preparing our students for this profession is; besides providing a quality education, they are to ensure that they have a scientific understanding as contemporary individuals, respectful to human rights and ethical values, successful in their profession and open to competition.

Career Opportunties
To work at a private orthodontist. To become an academician.

Level of Qualification
Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree)

Recognition of Prior Learning
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another institution / department of the university or another post-graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the post-graduate programs by horizontal transfer. The conditions for acceptance by horizontal transfer are determined by the Senate.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
All candidates have to complete at least 24 local credits (240 ECTS)with PhD thesis.

Access to Further Studies
A student graduated with a good PhD Degree may carry on an academic carrier as a lecturer or post doctorate researcher.

Full Time
