3453 PEDIATRIC NURSING PHD

GENERAL INFORMATION
Child Health and Diseases Nursing PhD Program was adopted on 31.08.2022. Students who want to continue their education in the field of Child Health and Diseases Nursing are trying to get the theoretical and application skills to comprehend and apply up -to -date information. The duration of the program is a total of eight semesters, four semesters and four -term thesis work. In order to complete the doctoral program, it is necessary to take at least 240 credits and prepare a doctoral thesis.

Objective
The aim of this program is to be sensitive to individuals, family and society in the field of nursing of children's health and diseases and can implement nursing approaches in accordance with the concepts, principles and methods on which they are based who can use critical thinking skills in the fields of education, research and application, the findings of scientific research can be transferred to nursing care in order to solve child health and health problems, to educate a doctor of science who takes into account the principles and values of professional ethics.


Admission Requirements
In the field of nursing nursing in Child Health and Diseases, he must have a master's degree with thesis and fulfill the conditions of the graduate education of Pamukkale University Institute of Health Sciences.

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, the student must take compulsory and elective courses to complete the 120 ECTS loan load and must complete the doctoral dissertation with 120 ECTS credit load and prepare his thesis and presented successfully in front of the jury. Graduates who have completed the program with success by fulfilling all the requirements of "Child Health and Diseases Nursing Doctoral Diplomacy" degree.

Child Health and Diseases Nursing Doctoral Program ”graduates in hospitals can work as" Nursing Services Manager "," Nursing Services Manager "," Education Nurse "and Nursing Undergraduate Schools.

Recognition of Prior Learning
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another institution / department of the university or another post-graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the post-graduate programs by horizontal transfer. The conditions for acceptance by horizontal transfer are determined by the Senate.
