GENERAL INFORMATION
Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics Graduate Program have been trained students since 2007-2008 fall educational term.

Objective
Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics Graduate Program aims to develop students’ understanding, abilities and knowledge about educational sciences and teach them theories, models and research methods related with their profession. Analysis of Educational Organizations, Evaluative Criteria and Techniques for Educational Organizations, Behaviour Management Applications in Schools, Education and EconomicDevelopment, Strategic Leadership, New Trends in Educational Administration are some of courses which aim to train students versatile. This programme intends to include all kinds of practical and theoretical aspects of the field of study and it aims to furnish students with the skills related to teaching-learning processes, learning models, teaching approaches, teaching-learning strategies; to enable students to understand curriculum development and evaluation processes and to carry out practical activities; to equip students with skills to evaluate curriculum research and conduct quantitative and qualitative research.


Admission Requirements
First cycle degree 3.30, acceptable score on centralized graduate entrance exam 70, placement through local oral/written exam and certificate of English proficiency 55 for under graduate students. Graduation Requirements
student must complete the required course load with a CGPA of at least 3.30/4.00; present two research seminar and successfully prepare and defend a thesis.

Career Opportunties
The graduates of the Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics PhD Program, who work at any governmental or private institution, can be assigned to higher positions in their work fields or they could be accounted as experts. In addition to this, the graduates of the PhD program who work in public service gains one degree in their service year. The graduates of the PhD program who do not work in any institutions are employed especially at private education institutions in various positions.

Recognition of Prior Learning
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another institution / department of the university or another post-graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the post-graduate programs by horizontal transfer. The conditions for acceptance by horizontal transfer are determined by the Senate.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Develop new perspectives depending on knowledge, experience and research efficacies got from master degree about theory, politics and practices in the discipline of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economy
2Relate the disciplines of philosophy, sociology, psychology, economy, law, politics, curriculum development, history of education, measurement and assessment, comparative education and adult education with the discipline of educational administration and supervision; reach original and new outputs in the discipline of educational administration and supervision by analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating these relations.
3Classify new and original information in the discipline of educational administration and supervision depending on a specific method; have qualitative and quantitative research skills; can reach results in analysis, synthesis and evaluation levels.
4Develop new scientific methods that provide various initiatives for current and complex issues about the discipline of educational administration and supervision; adapt the methods developed in different disciplines to the discipline of educational administration and supervision; design and implement original scientific researches about the administration and supervision of educational systems
5Make a critical analysis for the changes emerging in and outsides of educational system, and new ideas about the discipline of educational administration and supervision in particular and about organization and management in general.
6Contribute to the discipline of educational administration and supervision by the qualified publications that can be published in national and international level.
7Have teamworking and leadership skills to carry out original and interdisciplinary researches about the discipline of educational administration and supervision with other disciplines.
8Develop new ideas and methods by using the abilities of creative and critical thinking, problem solving and decision making for solving the problems arisen in the discipline of educational administration and supervision.
9Participate in educational and instructional activities about the discipline of educational administration and supervision and be leader in popularization of these activities.
10Aware of, adapt and implement ethical principles in researches and practices of the discipline of educational administration and supervision.
11Gain the knowledge and skills about the discipline of educational administration and supervision to the students; develop and practice effective educational and management strategies to create an interactive instructional process.
12Critically handle the social relations between politics, researches, implementors in the discipline of educational administration and supervision and persons in other disciplines, and the norms directing these relations.

20Evaluate the contributions of education to economic development in terms of information society; analyze, synthesize and evaluate new ideas that contribute to the economic development depending on information society.
21Evaluate the policies of Turkish educational system and the rationale of these politics; lead the discussions of the policies that direct the Turkish educational system nationally and internationally in terms of social, cultural, economical and international developments.
22Analyze the educational organizations technically and socially to develop the social functions of educational organizations; lead as a strategic leader to the changes in educational organizations depending on these analysis.
