3127 STEM CELL PHD

GENERAL INFORMATION
Education is provided in the classrooms and research laboratories of Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology. The language of education is Turkish and foreign students are also accepted into the program.

Objective
The aim of the stem cell doctoral program is; To provide technical, scientific and infrastructure opportunities for projects, thesis studies and scientific research in the fields of stem cells, cellular therapy, regenerative medicine and biotechnology, to contribute to the training of scientists who can produce national and international projects in this field, to produce scientific information in the light of education and to use this information. To contribute to the treatment under ethical and biosafety conditions:


Admission Requirements
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry (5 years), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (5 years), Faculty of Pharmacy (5 years), those who have completed their master's degree in the Department of Stem Cell, those who have graduated from the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering and have completed their master's degree in Basic Medical Sciences, or those who have completed their speciality education in any of the departments of the Faculty of Medicine other than the branches mentioned above. - To have ALES (SAY/EA) score type and ALES and Foreign Language base score determined by the Health Sciences Institute Board and approved by the Pamukkale University Senate To have ALES (SAY/EA) score type and ALES and Foreign Language base score determined by the Health Sciences Institute Board and approved by Pamukkale University Senate. - To provide the application requirements of Pamukkale University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations and Institute of Health Sciences.

Recognition of Prior Learning
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another institution / department of the university or another post-graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the post-graduate programs by horizontal transfer. The conditions for acceptance by horizontal transfer are determined by the Senate.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
All candidates have to complete at least 24 local credits (240 ECTS)with PhD thesis.

Access to Further Studies
A student graduated with a good PhD Degree may carry on an academic carrier as a lecturer or post doctorate researcher.
