2205 INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND FINANCE

GENERAL INFORMATION
International Trade and Finance master program provides students with detailed information about conceptual issues and empirical practices of international trade and finance. As of the 2018-2019 academic year, the education in the program was started.

Objective
The aim of the program is to provide students with detailed information about conceptual issues and empirical practices of international trade and finance. Students will gain the expertise to undertake a senior role for an international company.


Admission Requirements
Students will be admitted to the graduate program according to the PAU Graduate Education Regulations. Accordingly, the following conditions are sought in the application to the master's program: In order to apply to the master program, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, ALES score not less than 60 points in EA score type, and 40 points or more from a foreign language exam considered as equivalent by YDS or Council of Higher Education. 50% of the ALES exam grade, 15% of the undergraduate grade point average, 25% of the graduate entrance exam score and 10% of the foreign language (YDS or equivalent score) score are calculated. Candidates whose weighted average is below 65 points and who do not attend the entrance examination are not accepted to the program. Students who do not get a minimum score of 50 from the scientific evaluation exam in written and / or oral form shall not be evaluated.

Graduation Requirements
For the Master's program with thesis, the maximum education period is three years. The master's program can be completed in three semesters at least two semesters. The duration of the thesis starts with the acceptance of the thesis proposal by the related institute board of directors. At the end of the education period, the academic average for graduation should be at least 3.00.

Career Opportunties
Graduates of the program have the opportunity to be employed in international companies and financial institutions. In addition, there are also opportunities to become an academic by starting doctoral studies.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of previous structured lectures in Turkish Higher Education Institutions, transitions in vertical, horizontal and university are realized within the scope of the "Higher Education Regulations", "REGULATION BETWEEN THE BACHELORS AND GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS, ON HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRANSITION BETWEEN DOUBLE MAJOR DALL, SIDE DALL AND CREDIT TRANSFER STANDARDS
