121 MUSIC EDUCATION

GENERAL INFORMATION
The departmant of music education was founded in 1994-1995 academic year and started its education with 20 students and 5 lecturers. The department is continuing education with 18 lecturers and 105 students.

Objective
The aim of this program is to bring up teachers of music education for high schools. These teachers have national and universal values and personal and professional competence in the subject area.


Admission Requirements
In order for the candidates to apply to the teaching programs that accept students with a special talent exam in YKS, the lowest score of 800,000 in Y-TYT They must be in order. After the application stage, a exam is held to determine the talents of the candidates and the candidates are placed in the program as 30 permanent and 30 substitutes, in order of success.

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, including compulsory practical trainings, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s undergraduate program guidance.

Career Opportunties
Candidates with a degree in Music Education Department GSEB, if acquired KPSS'yi due MEB'na primary school, secondary school has been a music teacher. In addition, the branches of Faculties of Education Department of Music Education GSEB, depending on the Rectorates Fine Arts Departments of State Conservatories and music instructor, Anatolian Fine Arts High Schools examination appointed as general or specialized instructors, music ensembles (choirs and orchestras), the artist, the Ministry of Culture, Education served as an expert programmer and music ministry and receive TRT. In addition, a portion of those who, directly or indirectly related to the education of music production and broadcasting organizations are involved, the other a part of music education in various public and private organizations also brought significant tasks. In addition, applicants who graduated from our department, primary, secondary and vocational schools can be assigned as a teacher of music like (except for the appointment), depending on the universities of teacher training institutes in the field of music education (instrumental, voice, choir, music, writing, composing, music theory-school music education and education, etc.). "graduate education" programs, and these fields can enter higher education institutions can work as a researcher.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For students who want to transfer from higher education institutions in Turkey to Pamukkale University, the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" are applied.
