160 TURKISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE (Evening Classes)

GENERAL INFORMATION
Undergraduate program, was opened in 1995. Department consists of six units: New Turkish Language, Old Turkish Language, Modern Turkish Literature, Old Turkish Literature, Folklore, Modern Turkish Dialetcs and Literatures,University Library, library of the department, the Faculty computer labs, meeting rooms, presentation rooms, reading rooms and a classroom with normal and secondary education levels have adequate facilities.

Objective
The aim of the program daily life of the important tools of the intellectual and emotional process, and the main developer of the demonstrators that the language and literature, to them, depending on the language of Turkey and Turkish literature, the structural and functional aspects should diachronic and simultaneously as well acquainted with them to examine and research necessary to modern scientific methods and techniques related to basic equipped with information to educate people.


Admission Requirements
1.Pass the examinations carried out by Selection and Placement of Students in Higher Education Institution 2.Have the requirements for transfering from another university to Pamukkale University Turkish Language and Literature department

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s undergraduate program guidance.

Career Opportunties
1.Bachelors may get the license of pedagogical training and may work as Turkish language and literature teachers. 2. They may continue to the post graduate education 3. They may work in private educational institutions (private schools,etc.) 4. They may work in archieves, libraries or related private companies like printing houses, press companies etc. 5. They may work as lecturers of Turkish language and research assistants both in Türkiye or abroad.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Consoludating skills and knowledge about Turkish Language and Literature which has been learned before during the secondary education and put new information skills on it. According to this, gaining skills for perceiving the relations between knowledge and concepts.
2Gaining skills for accesing the sources of scientific data and utulizing them within the framework of science during study period.
3Gaining skills for composing, analyzing, critisizing and interpreting the data which has been given about Turkish language, culture and literature during the study period.
4Gaining skills for producing scientific knowledge (thesis etc.) and working with scientific methods.
5By realizing his talent and interests using his creative strenghts during the study period; for the future (post-graduate studies etc.) gaining skills for determining objectives.
6Learning the sub-diciplines of Turkish Language and Literature, gaining the ability of have a holistic look at the field by associating similarities and differences among these diciplines.
7Relating his own area to other diciplines (History, Geography, Philosophy, Sociology, Mathematics and so on.) ; have the ability of working inter-diciplines when it is necessary
