731 CHILD DEVELOPMENT

GENERAL INFORMATION
Child development and education program students; showing the importance of child development and education, 0 – 18 years to recognize their children's developmental characteristics, habit and gives information about the requirements, child support different approaches all development fields (physical, psycho-motor, cognitive, language, social and emotional), who plan, implement, child health and diseases are familiar with, and adapt to the development of children in need of special training that helps, drama, physical education simple movements, music studies, art and makes the main language activities, successful and effective communication skills of children is an area that implements recognition techniques.

Objective
Child development program; to develop awareness-raising activities for families, which will help the development of children and adolescents aged between 0-18 years who are in need of health, education and social areas and who have normal development, special needs, acute and chronic illnesses, The aim is to raise intermediate staff in the field of child development depending on ethical values, using technological, scientific methods and techniques that can help to implement the program.


Admission Requirements
Students are admitted to Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), which is conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in the Child Development Associate Program.

Graduation Requirements
To graduate, our students are required to complete an internship that includes 2.30 academic averages, 120 ECTS credits, 30 business days.

Career Opportunties
1. Administrative, teacher and teacher assistant in private kindergartens and kindergartens, 2. Administrators, teachers and teacher assistants in special education and rehabilitation centers, 3. In kindergarten and primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, master instructor, 4. Parental trainers in private research and consulting companies, 5. In maternity health centers, inpatient institutions and social services in child protection institutions, 6. In the children's toys sector, 7. Child care staff for working parents, 8. Television and radio children's program producer, 9. They can work as counselors in preparing children's books.

Without examination the graduates of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty have the right to migrate 3.sınıfına. In addition, DGS, if they are successful in the graduate program of formal education there are opportunities to continue.
