747 PRIVATE SECURITY AND PROTECTION

GENERAL INFORMATION
In the program, not only theoretical information, as well as activities for implementation are included. Private Security and The Conservation Program provides two years of training after high school. 30 workdays in the field of students' occupation It is also necessary to complete an internship that includes

Objective
Qualified personnel in the field of private security to meet the needs and equip students with the basic skills of the profession.


Admission Requirements
Candidates who have a high school and a balanced school diploma are placed by OSYM in accordance with the relevant legislation of YÖK. (Male students participating in the programa should be at least 1.70 cm in length and at least 1.63 cm in female students, and a delegation report and judicial registration certificate are required from the state hospital).

Graduation Requirements
Students must take and pass all the compulsory courses in the program. They can take elective courses besides compulsory courses. In order to obtain the associate degree in the field of private security, students must successfully complete the required compulsory and elective courses (total of 120 ECTS) required to be taken in the program and the GPA should be at least 2.30 out of 4.00.

Career Opportunties
Students who have graduated from the Private Security and Protection Program can be employed in the security departments of private security companies and private institutions operating in the province, especially in the province and all other settlements in Turkey. Moreover, they are employed as public officers in public institutions provided that they get enough points from KPSS exam.At the same time, in the procurement of officers made with KPSS-B, the gate of these institutions is open to the graduates of the program, as the condition of the associate degree is sought in the preferences of "security officer staff". Students who graduate from this program can work in official or private institutions in the region or they can operate and manage their own workplaces in order to complete their undergraduate studies.

Access to Further Studies
Without examination the graduates of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty have the right to migrate 3rd class. In addition, DGS, if they are successful in the graduate program of formal education there are opportunities to continue.
