GENERAL INFORMATION
Finance knowledge; in addition to being an interdisciplinary science which examines financial phenomena and one side is an economical one and the other is an law, it also includes the expenditures they make to produce public goods and the income they need to make these expenditures, as well as the income and expenditure, in order to meet the public needs of all public institutions, It is a scientific discipline that overcomes equilibrium. Finance has a very important place in state administration. Understanding the state is not possible to understand the economy. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to know the financial issues well and to bring the necessary solutions to the financial issues

Objective
The aim of Finance-Banking and Insurance Associate Degree Program is; To train qualified personnel for the state and the private sector with a program focused on economics, accounting and law by following the information needed in the process of fulfilling the financial duties towards the state and the developments in financial matters.


Admission Requirements
In order for the students to be able to register for the program, they must have got enough points on the entrance examination to the university organized by Student Selection and Placement (ÖSYM) and have a secondary education diploma. In addition, students who graduated from the departments of the department such as Finance, Accounting and Finance of the vocational high school may apply to the "Finance" associate degree program without examination.

Graduation Requirements
In order for a student to be successful in dersten, the average must be 60 points. At the end of 2 years / 4 semesters, students are entitled to graduate with a condition to complete 120 ECTS credits and 30 workday internships. Graduates who have successfully completed the program by satisfying all the requirements will be awarded "Associate Degree in Finance".

Career Opportunties
Employment opportunities for graduates are quite extensive. The professions of finance are composed of public sector enterprises, public administrations, central and provincial organizations and property departments of the Ministry of Finance, Tax Offices, Social Insurance Institution, State Planning Organization, Ministry of Customs and other public institutions and income-related units. They can also work in banks and in the financial units of private sector organizations or in chartered accountants, self-employed accountants and accountants. The graduates are able to work with the title of a Certified Public Accountant by opening a bureau on their behalf after completing the required training and internships, except for the above mentioned fields of study. In addition, they will have the opportunity to become a Financial Advisor after completing their undergraduate studies in related departments. They can open their own offices with the title of Financial Advisor or they can work as Financial Advisors in the accounting units of the enterprises.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For students who want to transfer from higher education institutions in Turkey to Pamukkale University, the provisions of "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" are applied. Common compulsory foreign language courses exemption exam, fall at the beginning of the semester, on the date specified in the academic calendar. No make-up exam is allowed for this exam. Faculty-vocational school-school students who do not have a preparatory program take the joint compulsory foreign language exemption exam. Students who will take the exemption exam apply to the relevant unit within the period specified in the academic calendar. In addition, students who enroll for the first time in departments with foreign language preparatory programs take a placement and proficiency exam before the academic year starts. Students are placed in one of the beginner, intermediate-lower level or intermediate level groups according to the scores they get in this exam, or those who have proficiency points are exempted from preparatory education. The score ranges of these groups are determined by the School Directorate. Exam results are announced in relevant places and on the website of the School of Foreign Languages. Among the students who are enrolled in the departments/programs accepted to the compulsory preparatory education, those who do not take the level determination and proficiency exam start their education at the beginning level.

Access to Further Studies
Graduates have the right to pass the 3rd class of Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty by taking the exam. In addition, if they are successful in the DGS exam, they have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate program in formal education.
