504 FOREIGN TRADE (Evening Classes)

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Vocational College of Foreign Trade Buldan program provides a 2-year education. The language of instruction is in Turkish. The Foreign Trade Program is able to produce students/employees that the sector needs.

Objective
The main purpose of the Foreign Trade Program is to train foreign trade professionals who are competent to carry out and follow up international commercial activities and business processes, have knowledge of information and communication technology, and are equipped with the ability to produce fast solutions.


Admission Requirements
Students who have graduated from the any high schooll and who have enough points from the exam that Student Selection and Placement Center has made are preferred.

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, including compulsory internship trainings and summer practises, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s associate program guidance.

Career Opportunties
Students, who graduate from the Associate degree program, can work for the foreign trade Ministry of Finance, Customs and as undersecretaries. In addition, professionals engaged in import-export business can find jobs at all workplaces. Students who have a very good foreign language will have no problem of finding work. Students who graduate can also find work at banks as foreign exchange professionals. In parallel with the increase in the foreign trade transactions of our country, demand for the graduates of foreign trade department is increasing. When entering the European Union, the demand for the graduates of Foreign Trade Department will increase.

Access to Further Studies
Without examination the graduates of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty have the right to migrate 3.sınıfına. In addition, DGS, if they are successful in the graduate program of formal education there are opportunities to continue.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students understand the importance of the Turkish national struggle and Ataturk’s principles and revolutions.
2Students learn to effectively communicate in Turkish, both verbally and in written form.
3By learning the basic concepts and tools of analysis of economy, students determine consumer and producer preferences, market and national and international economic relations and how to distinguish the types and interpret them.
4Students learn about business concepts and take part in operating management foundations. Students become knowledgeable of administrative functions, human resources, manufacturing process, and marketing activities and about managing the financial structure of the enterprises.
5Students learn about foreign trade and customs procedures; understand payment methods and delivery forms of foreign trade.
6Students regulate the relations of foreign trade unions legislations, and learn about following the exporter; how to implement and execute the different types of export and import transactions.
7Students learn to recognize general accounting principles, does accounting transactions especially applied to foreign trade accounts.
8Students learn about the general developments of information and also the developments of their own in their own fields and by doing so develop themselves.

20Students are able to make an investigation in any field, write a report and present it according to verbal and visual communication rules.
