449 TRANSPORTATION AND TRAFFIC SERVICES

GENERAL INFORMATION
The increasing population and the amount of traffic in our country and in the world has increased the demand for transportation systems. In parallel with these demands, the public sector responds to the needs and the current policies support this and the transportation sector has gained acceleration and this acceleration is increasing in direct proportion. In this context, the need for technical personnel increases in the design, construction, control, supervision and maintenance of these systems, both in the public and private sectors. The Transportation and Traffic Services Program of Bozkurt Vocational School of the University aims to make a major contribution to the training of manpower, which is necessary in the field of road transport and traffic, and whose gap is felt at any moment in our country.

Objective
This demand required by the sector is aimed to meet the need of personnel with high technical skills and proficiency by our Vocational School.


Admission Requirements
General admission requirements are valid to begin the program for Turkish and foreign students.

Graduation Requirements
Must have accomplished all compulsory courses in the program. It is required to have at least 120 ECTS credits in total and the overall average is 2.30 out of 4.00. In this program, 30 days internship is compulsory.

Career Opportunties
The graduates of the Transportation and Traffic Services program are employed in the transportation and traffic sector in line with their qualifications.

Access to Further Studies
Students can apply to undergraduate programs in the field provided that they get enough points in the Vertical Transfer Exam held by the Selection and Placement Center.
