772 BANKING AND INSURANCE (Evening Classes)

GENERAL INFORMATION
Banking and insurance program create specialized personnel, to work in banking branches and insurance agencies. Students are educated to manage customer relations, in banking and insurance transactions. In addition they are educated on the workflow of transactions in bank branches and insurance agencies.

Objective
The goal of the Banking and Insurance Program is to create specialized staff, for banking and in the insurance sector. In this context, students are educated to work as members of a team who focus on customer satisfaction. Graduate students are qualified with theoretical and applicatory skills in banking, insurance and capital markets transactions.

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete all compulsory and optional courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, including compulsory internship trainings and summer practices, and to have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s associate program guide.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For students who want to transfer from higher education institutions in Turkey to Pamukkale University, the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" are applied. The common compulsory foreign language courses exemption exam is held at the beginning of the fall semester on the date specified in the academic calendar. No excuses are given for this exam. Students of faculties/vocational schools/schools who do not have a preparatory program take the joint compulsory foreign language exemption exam. Students who will take the exemption exam apply to the relevant unit within the period specified in the academic calendar.

Access to Further Studies
Without examination the graduates of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty have the right to migrate 3.sınıfına. In addition, DGS, if they are successful in the graduate program of formal education there are opportunities to continue.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students gain knowledge about banking and insurance profession, dominate fundamental concepts to manage knowledge, and gain the ability to recognize and prepare documents.
2Students gain the knowledge about banking and insurance profession and its regulations, also how to manage all banking and insurance process about the profession, they gain the ability to solve all problems in operation.
3 Students learn to clearly explain about projects and implementations, concerning banking and the insurance profession to colleague and superiors.
4Students use information technologies and take part in a research.
5Students gain the skills to work individually and efficiently with different disciplines and learn to bear responsibility, and to be conscious about ethic and vocational work.
6Students gain a foreign language and knowledge at a level that is enough for their occupation.
7 Students become conscious about Atatürk’s principles, and gain knowledge about Revolution history.
8 Students become conscious of life time learning and follow developments concerning technology and science.
9Students become conscious about project management, office implementations, the environment and occupational safety, the health of workers and make a conclusion about the law, in all banking and insurance operations.
10Students gain the knowledge about the universal and social effects of banking and insurance operations, and become aware of entrepreneurship and innovation and also problems of the era.
11Students learn to put together theoretical information with implementation.
12Students learn to take initiative and to be creative, to be self confidence, to have efficient communication skills both verbally and written.
