2189 ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION IN EDUCATION

GENERAL INFORMATION
Measurement and Evaluation master's degree; It covers the acquisition of knowledge and skills related to the development, adaptation, application and evaluation of measurement tools used in the measurement of human behavior in education and psychology, by acquiring the student's knowledge based on the basic concepts and theories of measurement and evaluation. In this process, theoretical and applied courses based on measurement and evaluation, statistics, research methods, psychometry, measurement of psychological characteristics (intelligence, success, interest, attitude, personality, etc.), development and adaptation of psychological measurement tools (test development) are taught. In this way, it is to train experts who will make and carry out regulations on measurement and evaluation in the education units of public and private institutions, develop and apply measurement tools and interpret the results.

Objective
The purpose of the measurement and evaluation master's degree is to train experts who will make and carry out regulations in the field of measurement and evaluation for the education units of public and private institutions, develop and apply measurement tools and interpret the results. These experts are individuals who produce and share information about the field of measurement and evaluation, are equipped with research methods and techniques, act in accordance with ethical rules in scientific research and publications, offer solutions to problems in the field by using information and communication technologies effectively, are open to new developments, and think creatively and critically.
