GENERAL INFORMATION
Department of Geography Doctorate Program trains experts and researchers with a PhD degree who can analyze and interpret scientific research and information in the field of Geography, and conduct independent research on an original subject. The program will start accepting students from the 2023-2024 academic year. Geography PhD Program; Geography Teaching departments of Education Faculties and similar institutions in our universities under different names such as the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Languages and History and Geography (DTCF), Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Letters, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which may change their new names in the future. It includes graduates of Geography undergraduate programs of the faculties and graduates of geography programs from abroad whose equivalence has been accepted by YÖK.

Objective
It aims to train researchers and scientists who can make scientific evaluations in human interaction with the elements of the Natural and Human Environment, understand the construction of space, produce solutions to current problems and use innovative technologies, and add innovative ideas to science.
