2945 FRENCH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE PhD

The PhD Programme of French Language and Literature involves the past and present studies in the field of French language and literature. The works of drama, poetry and novel in French literature are scrutinized from the perspective of a certain critical point of view and are discussed under the light of new perspectives. The graduates of this programme are prospective academicians and literary critics who approach French literature from a critical perspective.

Objective
The purpose of this programme is to have the graduate students acquire skills to form authentic ideas in accordance with scientific rules. The courses in the programme include an advanced theoretical, social, historical and cultural analysis of different types of French literature. For this reason the programme internalizes interdisciplinary approach.
