GENERAL INFORMATION
Engineering management non-thesis master of science program, which opened under the department of Industrial Engineering, offers the opportunity to be preferred by qualified companies with systematic thinking, in-depth analysis and the ability to develop creative solutions. Leading institutions are demanding highly skilled and talented employees capable of managing product and service development, design and production processes. Engineering Management offers a flexible educational program based on well-balanced theory and practice, with an improvement potential for students by their interests with elective courses offered by qualified and experienced academic staff. Tomorrow comes today… The target audience of the program is quite wide because of incoming requests and comprehensive assessments. The developmental openness and the scope of the program are identified based on the opinions of the qualified academicians and the managers of the enterprises. Graduate students of engineering management program can work in management at all levels in companies with different standards. The program offers students many theoretical and practical knowledge of modern production and management techniques, entrepreneurship, project management, leadership and human resources, lean production, simulation, system analysis, quality management and much more. The acquired achievements will make the graduates have direct or indirect responsibility in developing the right strategies to ensure that the processes of the enterprises are designed and carried out more efficiently and cost-effectively. For this reason, the program supports the achievement of the goals of middle and senior managers and candidates who are planning the future in present.

Objective
The educational objectives of the graduate program of our department are to enable our graduates to create value in the fields of research and practice by enabling them to have the following characteristics: • In the light of the systems thinking and sustainability approach; ability to use data-based analysis and analytical decision-making methods for defining and solving problems in business processes. • By developing communication networks at the national and international level in the business and research eco-system; capacity to generate scientific, social and cultural output. • Ability to use leadership, entrepreneurship, ethics and social responsibility skills effectively. • Ability to adopt a development approach based on lifelong learning and research.
