1663 Industrial Engineering Phd

The Industrial Engineering PhD Program has been designed and operated by the Department of Industrial Engineering. The program accepted its first students in the academic year of 2013-2014. The language of the program is Turkish. In order for candidates to be accepted into the program they are required to meet necessary criteria set out by the Natural Sciences Institute by PAU and pass the required exams. The main principle of the program is to provide an up-to-date, practical and research oriented engineering education and carry out high quality scientific research. Objective
The educational objectives of the PhD program of our department are to enable our graduates to create value in the fields of research and practice by enabling them to have the following characteristics: • In the light of the systems thinking and sustainability approach; ability to use data-based analysis and analytical decision-making methods for defining and solving problems in business processes. • Capacity to carry out scientific studies, to develop projects and to present scientific results to the literature by integrating himself/herself with national and international research networks. • Ability to use leadership, entrepreneurship, ethics and social responsibility skills effectively. • Ability to adopt a development approach based on lifelong learning and research.
