2783 PHILOSOPHY

GENERAL INFORMATION
In the Department of Philosophy, since the 1995-1996 Academic year, graduate education begun to be given in two programs called “Systematic Philosophy and Logic” and “History of Turco-Islamic Thought”. However, in the 2020-2021 Academic year, 2321-Systematic Philosophy and Logic Master’s Program has been closed and 2783-Philosophy Master’s Program has been opened instead. Philosophy Department Philosophy Master’s Program provides specialization education in Philosophy. Graduates of any undergraduate program can be accepted to the Philosophy Master’s Program. However, graduates of undergraduate program other than Philosophy have to take two semesters of scientific preparatory education.

Objective
The aim of our master program is to provide students with specialization in the main areas of philosophy, as well as enhancing their ability to cope with philosophical problems.
