GENERAL INFORMATION
Pamukkale University Department of Sociology undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs and students in basic sociological perspective or sociological thinking, social events comprehension and social aims to develop a critical view of events. A glance in the direction of sociological development of the necessary theoretical foundation, research methods and techniques provided in the framework of the world, but this perspective of social events occurring in Turkey and to evaluate a unique perspective is gained. The purpose of doing a sociological research on social behavior of people is to get a deeper understanding. Human behavior can be investigated is almost unlimited direction, sociologists in different ways some of these aspects are investigated. As well as the introduction of courses in a broad range of students in several different areas that can grow with the classes are included, this field is right for a cultural accumulation. Curriculum for students with elective courses in their specific area of study is intended to identify. Part of the alumni, teacher, of academics, experts in social services, public relations, guidance and psychological counseling in the classroom and group teaching philosophy, journalism, public opinion research companies, the state statistics institute expertise in the ad sector, text writing, television, etc.. such as public and private sector can find career opportunities.
Objective
The aims of program are to evaluate the sociological problems in multi-dimensional framework; to analyze both our society and other societies; to prepare research projects related to sociological problems; to learn to look from different perspective to society and cultural formations.
