GENERAL INFORMATION
Our faculty was first established in 1996 in the Bozkurt district of Denizli as the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department affiliated to the Faculty of Education. Later, our school moved to Denizli Merkez Incilipınar Campus Faculty of Education in 2002. Then, the establishment of the School of Sports Sciences and Technology under the Rectorate of Pamukkale University; Upon the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 18/04/2002 and numbered 10656, it was decided by the Council of Ministers on 25/04/2002 in accordance with the amended additional article 30 of the 28/03/1983 dated and 2809 numbered Law. In 2014, the decision to establish a Faculty of Sports Sciences affiliated to Pamukkale University Rectorate; According to the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809 dated 28/3/1983 of the Ministry of National Education, it was taken by the Council of Ministers on 14/8/2014 and published in the list (1) of the Official Gazette dated 26 August 2014 and numbered 29100. With 30 new students enrolled in the 2021-2022 academic year and 133 (2nd, 3rd, 4th grade) students currently registered, our University's Faculty of Sports Sciences Physical Education and Sports Teaching Program continues its activities actively. As of the 2021-2022 academic year, our program is actively working with 163 students, 3 Professors, 1 Associate Professor and 2 Dr. Lecturers, 9 Lecturers, 1 Teacher, and 2 Research Assistants contributing to education.
Objective
Bu programın amacı, Atatürk ilke ve inkılaplarına bağlı, insan haklarına saygılı, bilim ve teknolojiden özgün ve estetik değerlerle yararlanan, çağdaş bir beden eğitimi ve spor eğitimi vermek, spor kültürünü yerleştirmek ve topluma kazandırmaktır. evrensel değerler ışığında toplum yararına bu nitelikte yetişmiş bireyler yetiştirmektir. Programın bir diğer amacı ise yaptığı çalışmalar ve mezun edeceği/mezun edeceği öğrencilerle ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel araştırmaların kalitesini artırmak, bedenen eğitimli bireyler ve dolayısıyla toplum yaratmada öncülük eden bir kurum olmaktır.
