GENERAL INFORMATION
The Department of Recreation Management includes versatile training on organizing indoor and outdoor activities, arranging travel contents, and designing special programs for tourist groups of different conditions, in order to increase the general quality of life of individuals and to help them spend their leisure time productively outside of their daily routines. Accordingly, the entertainment industry, hotels, museums, libraries, ski resorts, thermal areas, theme parks, as well as mountaineering, camping, and photography activities are among the main options for employment for our graduates. The mission of the Department of Recreation Management is to expand the vision and competence of its students while making a positive difference in society and the lives of individuals participating in tourism activities. Our department seeks to be one of the dynamic education programs in our country with its diversified foreign language options, theoretical & practice-oriented education, activities carried out jointly with industry stakeholders and bilateral agreements with equivalent education institutions abroad.
Objective
It is aimed to give graduates who have a solid theoretical and practical background in recreation and tourism, are knowledgeable about technology and the digital world, are fluent in at least two foreign languages, have advanced leadership-communication-creativity and entrepreneurship skills, have a good command of crisis management techniques, care about professional ethics and the rights of the living.
