175 METALLURGY AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING

GENERAL INFORMATION
Metallurgical and Materials engineering is a multidisciplinary field as producing wide spectrum materials type up to non-metallic materials such polymers, ceramics, semi-conductors and metals as well as devolopment of new products and fabrication techniques and acquire different properties. Materials engineer who have comprehensive knowledge of physical, chemical and mechanical properties of any type of materials further changing materials characteristics by making either atomic or macro structure alterations.

Objective
To train scientists and engineers who will meet the expectations of the regional and country industry in the field of materials and have strong scientific research and application aspects.
