Students who want to study the Knife Making and Hand Tools Technology program within the scope of a 3 + 1 semester education program, can study Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Production, Materials Technology, Basic Molding Technology, Manufacturing Processes, Technical Drawing, Machine Elements, Entrepreneurship and Internet and Marketing etc. With the course content suitable for the needs of the sector, such as the needs of the sector, it trains students who can be sought after rather than intermediate staff. Students who are responsible for these courses for 2 years are entitled to receive an associate degree in Knife Making and Hand Tools Production Technology upon graduation. The workshop conditions provided to the students within the scope of our program help them to transform the theoretical knowledge they have learned in the lessons into practice. In addition, thanks to the technical visits made to the factories at regular intervals, they are faced with the application areas of the program themselves. The aim of the department is to be a pioneer in the fields of social and sustainable development with interdisciplinary project collaborations, to be a modern, innovative, reliable, respected and preferred department in the fields of education-training and scientific development at national and international level.
Objective
To train well-equipped technicians who have the basic knowledge and skills needed by the sector and who will contribute to the identification or solution of the problems that will be encountered in the sector.
