821 ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES TECHNOLOGY

The type of energy sources used is of great importance for the future of the world and a green environment. Among these, clean and renewable energy sources are the sources of the future, in which many countries invest heavily. Sources other than traditional and non-clean energy sources are called Alternative Energy Sources. In our country, it has been observed that there has been a tendency towards such sources in recent years. These facilities, which are established to produce electrical energy, need technical personnel who have received theoretical and practical training in this field. Under this program, it is aimed to train well-educated and qualified technical personnel needed by the energy sector. The academic and practical trainings prepared in accordance with this aim to train graduate students at the level required by the energy sector with sufficient knowledge and experience level about many energy sources.

Objective
The program aims to train graduates who are capable of performing the duties of operator, field officer and maintenance-repair worker who will work in renewable and conventional energy production facilities. Students are prepared with theoretical and practical courses suitable for these purposes. During the vocational training period in the enterprise, it is ensured that they experience the requirements of the profession in the workplace with a long-term work.
