Country's workforce development plan: Turkey, as a country experiencing rapid population growth and achieving robust economic performance, faces a significant demand for skilled labor. In response to this growing demand, the number of vocational schools training vocational personnel is rapidly rising, and the programs offered by these schools are being diversified to meet this need. The establishment of the logistics program aligns with the overarching objective of workforce development, as articulated.

Objective
It is aimed that the graduates have the required capacity in subjects which have become synonym of logistics such as forwarding with vehicle optimization (planning loading and arrival time), route planning, value added transactions (labelling, cost and barcode, packaging, combination-allocation, preparing the product according to the demands of the customers etc.), supplying the material for the production, drawback transactions, distribution, support of spare parts, information system of logistics, direction of inventory, estimation of demands, following supplier orders, storage, insurance, customs, transportation (air, land, sea, railway) and purchasing. Those who successfully complete the Logistics Program may, upon succeeding in the "Vertical Transfer Exam" conducted by the Assessment, Selection, and Placement Center (OSYM in Turkish), vertically transfer to the following departments: • Logistics Management • Transportation and Logistics • International Logistics • International Logistics and Transportation • International Trade and Finance • International Trade and Business Management.
