Course Objective The aims of the course are to have information about appearance, development and types of Korinth capital in the Hellenistic and Roman period in Anatolia. The objectives of the course are to know Hellenistic and Roman period Korinth capitals, recognize the relationship between capital, column and structure
Course Content The developments and changes on Corinthian capitals from the first appearance during the Hellenistic and Roman periods will be explained.The form and dimensions of capitals and their changes by periods will be evaluated by comparisons and observations on different examples.

2Know examples of Classical Period Corinth capitals and their structural relations
3Know Hellenistic Period Corinth capitals and their features in Anatolia
4Able to date Corinth capitals dated to 1. c. B.C. and 1. c. A.D. according to development of achantus leaf
5Know and date of Roman Period capitals
6Fully understand relations between Corinth capital, column and building
7Suggest a date the fragment of Corinth capital seen on the land
8Know the structural relationship between Corinth and Composite capitals and explain architectural elements
