Course Objective The aims of the course are that know the archaeological studies and scientific publications and have information about the history and archaeology of Pisidia region. The objectives of the course are that have information about social events, history, cities, structures and architecture of Pisidia region and able to publish them in scientific frame.
Course Content Pisidian region -which is modernly called “lake district- is becoming more and more important for Anatolian archaeology. Beside Sagalassos excavations, S. Mitchel’s researches gave important information. The settlements Kremna, Adada and Antiocheia excavations provided new data in Roman period of the region. Generally in this lesson, important cities of the region, buildings and plans will be studied.
