Course Objective In this course, it is aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of the students by examining the current educational approaches and examples and national-international projects on human rights and democracy education, and thus to contribute to the realization of human rights and democracy education more effectively.
Course Content Philosophical foundations of human rights and democracy thought, historical development of human rights, scope of human rights education, examination of the literature on human rights education, national-international projects on human rights education, studies of non-governmental organizations, human rights and democracy education in textbooks, human rights Current approaches and practices in education
