Course Objective The aim of this course is to conceptualize a case of students; to contribute to awareness and advanced skills development in purpose, content and process management. This course develops students' knowledge, skills and awareness about what they will do, when working with a case, why they will do it, how the process will govern and how to evaluate the case as a whole.
Course Content 1-Counseling theories' philosophical assumptions. 2. Counseling processes and techniques. 3. Research and evaluation of their outcomes. 4. Issues in the applicability of various counseling theories to conceptualization and intervention planning for diverse client populations. 5. Practice and reflection on the application of theories to conceptualization and intervention planning for diverse client populations.
