Course Objective This course aims to demystify the writing process and teach the fundamentals of effective scientific writing. Instruction will focus primarily on the process of writing and publishing scientific manuscripts.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Designs a project and develops a research question.
2Searchs, evaluates and uses the scientific literature for research.
3Improves the quality of their writings through assignments of varied length and purpose (abstracts, proposal, reviews,).
4Improves the quality of their writing though the evaluation of the work of peers and theirselves.
5Prepares graphics, tables, poster and oral presentations.
