Course Objective	The aim of this course is to examine learning difficulties and misconceptions in mathematics education, and to evaluate the researches on these subjects in our country and in other countries of the world.
Course Content	Classical and contemporary learning theories in mathematics. Mathematical thinking processes of K-8 students. Results and recommendations of mathematics education research for classroom practices.
