Environmental impact assessment regulation, aims of environmental investigations in geophysics, geological problems around the waste dump sites, limitation of new disposal sites, detection of contaminated aquifers, environmental radioactivity surveys, radiation from industrial and domestic waste dumps, heavy metal pollution, environmental problems caused by earthquakes. .
