Course Objective to introduce prestressing & prestressed concrete structural elements, to get familiar with posttensioning and pretensioning applications, to introduce prestressing reinforcements and special components, to introduce patented prestressing methods & special equiptments, to give brief information abaut design of prestressed concrete beams.
Course Content Introduction, Methods of prestressing, production and assembly of prestressed concrete, Analysis and design of prestressed concrete, losses, flexural members, continious beams, composite beams, deflections, shear, torsion, axially loaded members, circular prestressing. .
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
