Course Objective To solve design and control problems of soil improvements, to solve soil engineering problems.
Course Content "Engineering structures made of soil and rock, soil and rockfill dams, highways, cut&fills and problems encountered during their construction; Soil improvement methods, applications in highways, dams and buildings, densification, compaction, pre-consolidation, sand and geosynthetic drainage; Improvement with additives such as lime, cement, etc.; Liquefaction and soil improvement; Soil reinforcement techniques, grouting and mixing techniques, jet grouting, nails, tie-backs; Verification of soil improvement. " .
