Course Objective To create a theoretical substructure that are required for the design of microwave circuit which are substructure in modern communication systems, and the realization of simple design using simulation by means of CAD package program.
Course Content Basic concepts of microwave filters and transmission line types used in production filter, Filter design methods, To determine values of prototype filter elements with exact and approximate design, Conversion from prototype filters to real filters, Lumped elements and distributed elements approximation, Design of filter with distributed elements, Examples of simulation and analysis.
