Course Objective To provide the graduate students a background of multidimensional signal processing theory with an emphasis on the differences and similarities between the one-dimensional and multidimensional cases.
Course Content Multidimensional signals, systems, and Fourier transform / z-transform / Discrete Fourier Analysis of multidimensional signals / Design and implementation of two-dimensional FIR filters / Multidimendional recursive systems / Design and implementation of two-dimensional IIR filters / Random signals and multidimensional spectral estimation / Inverse problems.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
