Course Objective The aim of is course is to help students to understand developmental biology of vertebrate animals and the genetical techniques that can be used in this field.
Course Content Zygote and post-zygotic changes in development and differences in vertebrate groups; The ectoderm, mesoderm, endoderm and the morphogenesis and organ formation; Embryonic staging and samples from vertebrate animals; The techniques for DNA extraction; Polymerize Chain Reaction and related techniques; The identification of species and subspecies with genetical techniques.
