Course Objective The goal of this lecture is to give the students, the meaning of terminology (shape, colour etc. features) that used in plant taxonomy.
Course Content The concept of Taxonomic terminology.Origin of terminology. Terminology used in plant taxonomy.; Life forms, the terms about vegetative organs (Root, trunk, leaf), the terms about generative organs (Flower, fruit, seed), colour and texture terms, ecologic and geographical terms, prefix and postfixes, symbols and abbreviations. .
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
