Course Objective This course covers classical and advanced biotechnological applications in plants.
Course Content Biotechnolgy, The Principals of Plant Tissue Culture, Regeneration of Plants in Tissue Kulture, Micro-propagation and production of virus-free plants, Protoplast Fusion in Plants, Production of Doubled-Haploid Plants, In vitro Preservation of Genetic Resources, Gen Transfer Techniques in Plants, Transgene Constructs, Transformation of Nuclear Chromosomes, Transformation of Organelles, Production of Marker-Free Transgenic Plants, Testing and Regulation of Transgenic Plants, Transgenic Agricultural Crops.
