Course Objective The aim of this course is to enable the student to develop the concepts and principles that will form the basis of nursing care and practices by examining the pathophysiology of diseases seen in the field of internal medicine nursing and the changes that may occur in the systems, the symptoms-signs and causes caused by these
Course Content It covers the pathophysiology of diseases related to the immune system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, hematopoietic system, renal system, gastrointestinal system, endocrine system, nervous system, joint-connective tissue and musculoskeletal system
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Ability to define basic concepts related to the physiology of systems
2To be able to define the physiopathological changes that can be seen in system diseases
3Ability to develop concepts and principles that will form the basis of patient care by analyzing and synthesizing the causes of pathophysiological changes and symptom findings
4Ability to evaluate physiopathological mechanisms associated with symptoms and findings/diagnostics/laboratory results encountered in clinical situations
