Course Objective Aim of the course is to gain and follow evidenced based informations on child health
Course Content Evidence-based nursing concept, eye care,contact dermatitis, fever management, infantil colic, sudden infant death syndrome, effects of pacifiers on breastfeeding, sudden infant death syndrome and dental disorders, constipation , asymptomatic hypoglycemia management, evidence-based massage treatments, evidence-based skin care, pain management in newborn, breastfeeding welded nipple cracks and pain management, kangaroo care
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Understand the importance of evidence-based nursing care
2Can follow evidence-based nursing care practices from the literature
3Be able to do in-depth review of the literature about child health nursing issues using databases in the selected field
4Can analyze the evidence value of the obtained literature
5To use practice critical thinking skills in the field of nursing education and research
6Be able to design researches in the field of pediatric nursing in order to produce and develop nursing knowledge
7Can be able to apply innovations in the field of child health to pediatric nursing with using theoretical and analytical knowledge and skills
8To make expertise in a study in the field of pediatric nursing or interdisciplinary studies.
9To make theory-based researches to produce informations and development that contribute health care, policies and evidence-based practices
