Course Objective Course aims to determine family characteristics, recognition of the roles and values and effects of this characteristics on parent-child interaction and child health and care.
Course Content The definition of family, structure, family type, family functions and the social importance of family, theoretical foundations of family nursing, theoretical foundations of family nursing, communication in the family and communication processes, family values, beliefs, role structure, attitudes of parents and child rearing in family, family and children's health care in the neonatal period and, 0-3 years old children, midterm exam, health care of families with preschool and school age children, health care of families with adolescent children, employee mother and effects on child, the effect of divorce on children, effects of single parenthood on children, children with step-mother, step-father and step-siblings , impact of domestic violence on children
