Course Objective In this course, it is aimed for the student to evaluate the nursing profession in terms of professionalism criteria, to recognize and question the profession by knowing the concept and principles of professionalism.
Course Content The professionalization process/history of the nursing profession, the characteristics of being a professional, thinking like a nurse, experience, the roles of the professional nurse, the role of the nurse in improving the individual, family and society and complementary care practices, the nursing profession and innovation, developing a holistic perspective, culture, art, science and modern nursing, lobbying and lifelong learning in nursing, improving decision-making skills through critical thinking, nursing in the world and the place of the nurse in the health system of our country
