Course Objective To improve nursing process, the healthy/ ill child and/or family general assessment, physical examination methods, vital signs, nutritional status, skin - skin structure of assessment and the symptoms of physical examinations related to all systems are investigated.
Course Content Introduction of course General approach of child’s physical assesment General approach of child’s physical assesment (continue) Physical examination techniques: inspection, palpation, percussion, auscultation and smelling. Physical examination steps: observation, history taking I. Midterm Exams Physical examination steps: general appearance, vital signs, growth measurements. Physical examination steps: skin, the head and neck and thorax, Physical examination steps: lungs, heart, abdomen, genital area, Physical examination steps: Muscular-skeletal, neurological assessment, Developmental assessment II.
