COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Doctorate Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective The aim of the course is to provide advanced knowledge about the blood circulation of the nervous system. The main topic of the course is “neurovascular anatomy of the human brain”. The course provides a scientific approach to arterial and venous vessels organisation of the brain and spinal cord. The course creates awareness about concepts and methods to essential vessels used in contemporary neuroanatomical research.
Course Content Vascularisation and clinical features of human nervous system.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Explains arterial and venous vessels of nervous system, and shows them in models and cadavers.
2Explains the brain regions supplied by vessels and shows them in cases.
3Follows and reads publications related with this topic, and shares them.
4Joins to plan a scientific research study in neurovascular structures.
5Makes cadaver dissection to examine the blood circulation of the nervous system.
6Takes place within a multidisciplinary research project related with nervous system.
7Knows the mechanisms of the diseases related with nervous system and research methods and articles of the laws and bylaws about these issues.
