Course Objective The aim of this lecture is to learn Developmental models; Embriyonic developments of model organisms such as drosophila and mouse, similarities and differences. At the end of this lecture students are expected to investigate developmental biology in human and experimental animal models. Students will acquire necessary skills to understand and have sense of biological system during development.
Course Content Developmental models; Embriyonic developments of model organisms such as drosophila and mouse, similarities and differences Mechanisms of cell differentiation Determination of cell fate by diffrential gene expression Intercellular interactions in tissue and organ development Experimental methods in developmental biology Evolutionary aspects of developmental models .
