Course Objective
The aim of the lecture to understand knowledge of the molecular mechanisms of cancer At the end of this lecture, students are expected to have knowledge of cell cycle and its regulation, molecular mechanisms of carsinogenesis, morphological characteristics of cancer cells at PhD level and competence to analyze the knowledge at research area .
Course Content
The mechanisms of the transformation of normal cells to transformed and malign cells, morphological characteristics of tumor cells, the role of cell cycle and its control points in the development of cancer, mutation mutagens, oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes, apoptosis, DNA repair mechanisms, molecular mechanisms of cancer metastasis .
